Straightforward rates for consistent work.
Choose per-shelf pricing (about the footprint of a carry-on suitcase laid flat) or reserve a whole kiln. Community shelf requests are free and only placed when space remains on a purchased shelf with permission from that shelf owner.
Full kiln / custom fire

We bill by shelf space or whole-kiln reservation only. We do not measure kiln volume for billing.
Community shelf wares are lowest-priority placement and do not trigger firing schedules.
We typically fire at least four times per month (two bisque and two mid-fire glaze loads), usually on weekends. When capacity is tight, we add additional firings.
Kiln firing
Reliable firing with clear handling.
We fire in an L&L eQ2827-3 electric production kiln with a Genesis touch screen controller, rated to cone 10. Cone fire and ramp/hold programs are available.
All kiln loading is handled by studio technicians with a focus on safe, consistent results. A reduction kiln is planned for the property.
Why this kiln: Dynamic Zone Control and quad elements keep heat even, hard ceramic element channels protect the interior, and the Genesis touch screen with the Kiln Aid app makes monitoring straightforward.
