Kiln Rentals

The beating heart of any studio is the kiln. At Monsoon Fire we use an electric production oxidation kiln from L&L. The interior of the kiln has 10.2 cubic feet of space, fires up to cone 12 (!!?!), and we try to fill it each fire. There's plenty of room for your wares!

 

You have a choice when firing with us.  You can choose either:
 

• Delivery - Our most streamlined service.  Our studio techs will pick up your wares from your home, office, or studio.  We will estimate your firing costs at intake. We only charge after a completed firing.  Your wares will be added to the next available firing, or a custom firing can be scheduled to meet your timing needs.  After a successful firing your wares will be delivered back to your home or studio.  
   

• Dropoff / Pickup - You can save some money if you have the flexibility to drop your wares off at our West Valley studio for firing.  Your firing costs will be estimated at intake.  We will estimate your firing costs at droppoff time.  Your wares will be added to the next firing or we will run a custom firing to meet your needs.  You will be notified when your wares are fired and ready for pickup.  Your Dropoff and Pickup windows must be reserved on our user portal.
